Ryan Reynolds shares a spoof video to inform fans why Deadpool 3 is taking so long

Actor Ryan Reynolds has a lot of projects in the pipeline, and one of them is Deadpool 3. But, the fate of the movie remains unclear ever since 20th Century Fox was acquired by Disney a while ago. As the Deadpool franchise is the biggest asset of Fox, fans are eagerly waiting to hear the announcement news.

Ryan Reynolds shares a spoof video to inform fans why Deadpool 3 is taking so long to be made

On Tuesday, Ryan Reynolds took to Twitter to share a video from Unsolved Mysteries TV series. In the video, Deadpool clips are used as montage because five years ago, the film had leaked online. “It’s why the next Deadpool film is taking so long,” Reynolds wrote. “Still trying to solve this. Happy Leakaversary.”

Ryan recently opened up about the movie with Jimmy Fallon and said, “Deadpool was Fox and now it’s in the hands of Disney. I see infinite possibilities in either version. If Deadpool were to be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I think it would be explosive and amazing and what a sandbox to play in. If Deadpool continued to get to just do his own thing and be his own thing, also just infinite possibility.”

Deadpool writers, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are reportedly working on the third installment already. Though Deadpool 3 wasn’t announced in Marvel Phase 4 lineup, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has plans to take it forward in the MCU.
