After Kareena and Saif Ali Khan, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli it is TV stars Teejay Sidhu and Karanvir Vohra who have announced the impending arrival of a lockdown baby. Karanvir shyly admits that the lockdown was responsible for his wife’s pregnancy. “I think the lockdown was the biggest reason for the baby. There was nothing else to do except being with the family and working out. There was time together at home. It just happened.”

Karanvir knows it will be hard handling three children. “It’s going to be very stormy life hereon. But we are very excited. People are telling us we should be looking forward to a boy after two girls. But my wife and I are way too spiritual to look at a new life in our home through the gender lens. For us the baby to come is a child per se. Boy or girl, it doesn’t matter.”

The TV actor and now director feels the new child has a reason to come into his life. “My wife Teejay and I are very connected on this issue. We feel this new life wants to come to earth and it has chosen us as parents. So we welcome it, who are we to stop it?”

Karanvir, his wife Teejay and twin girls are looking forward Vienna and Raya Bella are looking forward to the new arrival. “We are very excited to have another life in our lives. When my wife and I had our twin girls our love was divided between the two girls. But now all of us will shower our love on this new soul in our lives.”

Following the media trial of Rhea Chakraborty, Taapsee Pannu says to trust the law in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case

Actors Taapsee Pannu and Lakshmi Manchu have spoken out against the media trial of Rhea Chakraborty in the death case of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Currently, CBI is investigating the untimely demise and the case has been filed against Rhea and her family. Recently, Rhea did a sit-down interview where she spoke about various allegations levelled against her.

After watching the interview, South actress Lakshmi Manchu said that she was pained by the media trial. “I thought a lot about if I should respond or not. I see so many people so silent because the media has made a monster out of a girl. I don’t know the truth and I want to know the truth and I hope the truth will come out in the most honest way. I have complete trust in the judiciary system and all the agencies that are involved in bringing justice to Sushant,” she wrote in a long note.

Responding to her note, Taapsee Pannu said, “I didn’t know Sushant on a personal level nor do I know Rhea but what I know is, it only takes to be a human to understand how wrong it is to overtake the judiciary to convict someone who isn’t proven guilty. Trust the law of the land for your sanity and the deceased’s sanctity.”

29 Years of Saajan: Madhuri Dixit reveals why she agreed to star in the film alongside Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan

It’s been 29 years since Saajan starring Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan starrer released in 1991. The romance drama was directed by Lawrence D’Souza with hit songs penned by Sameer and composed by Nadeem-Shravan.

On Sunday, August 30, Madhuri Dixit celebrated 29 years of the film and revealed why she agreed to star in the film. Sharing a photo from the film, she wrote, “#29YearsOfSaajan After reading the script of this film, I instantly decided to be a part of it. The story was romantic, the dialogues were poetic and the music was brilliant!”

Himansh Kohli’s family tests positive for COVID-19, actor tests negative

Yaariyan actor Himansh Kohli has informed that his family has tested positive for coronavirus. However, the actor tested negative.

“Since the last 2-3 days, mom, dad and my sister, Disha were having symptoms of viral infection including mild fever. Recently, we all got ourselves tested for Novel Coronavirus – mom, dad and Disha have tested positive with mild Covid-19 infection,” he wrote on Instagram.

Himansh thanked the “government authorities for all the help and the advice. Hats off to all the people working hard to make sure we all are safe. I hope we come out of it and recover very soon.”

“I am taking care of myself and my family members. In the meanwhile, safeguard your family and ensure that they are taking all precautions. Even the slightest bit of carelessness can be harmful. But, please don’t be scared, a sane mind deals with all the problems better. Wishing all of you good health and lots of love,” Kohli wrote on Instagram.

On the work front, Himansh Kohli last starred in Ranchi Diaries with Taaha Shah and Dil Jo Na Keh Saka opposite Priya Banerjee.

BREAKING: Yash Raj Films to produce Tiger Shroff’s Rambo for Rohit Dhawan and Siddharth Anand?

Some days back, it was revealed that Rohit Dhawan has replaced Siddharth Anand as the director for the official Indian adaptation of the Hollywood cult franchise, Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo. The Hindi version will be led by Tiger Shroff, who is all charged up to step into his idol’s shoes. Bollywood Hungama has now exclusively learnt that the Rambo remake will be produced by the number one production house of India, Yash Raj Films.

“Siddharth Anand had the rights of Rambo for a while now and always had the plans of spinning a desi version with Tiger. However, the film kept getting delayed, first due to War and then due to his upcoming venture Pathan which is a battle royal between Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. Sid has a deal with YRF and with not enough time in his hands to direct Rambo, he decided to partner with YRF to spin a franchise with Tiger Shroff,” a source told Bollywood Hungama. Sid has already signed a multi-film deal with the production house and the association on Rambo has just strengthened their bond further. “It will be a co-production of YRF and Sid, with the latter being involved in script and other creative aspects of the film too. The studio is in talks with Rohit to helm the franchise, however the young director is yet to sign on for the film.”

The source also shared that there is a lot of time before Rambo goes on the floors as Tiger will wrap up a two films including Heropanti 2 before moving on to Rambo. “The earliest it can go on the floors is by the end of 2021, as even Rohit has to finish his next family entertainer with Kartik Aaryan, which kicks off in February. Only after that will he move on to Rambo,” the source shared. Rambo is Sid and Tiger’s baby, which is the reason why both have partnered with the best in business, Yash Raj Films for the actioner. “After War, even YRF wanted to work with Tiger again, considering that he is one of the most bankable action stars in today’s time. Sid is tied up with too many things, and hence decided to pass on the baton to Rohit Dhawan, who is his friend. Next one year will be consumed in Pathan, following which he will move on to scripting War 2.”

Like the original, even Desi Rambo will be a multi-film franchise, with some unheard action scenes mounted on a huge scale. “It’s a massive franchise, no doubts. However, this one won’t be a part of YRF Project 50. The announcement will be made next year only once the director and script is locked. Right now it’s in the early stage of discussion.” In the other news, YRF Project 50 announcement is expected to be made on September 27.

Ranvir Shorey alleges he was abused by Pooja Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt’s family

Actor Ranvir Shorey has alleged that he was abused by the Bhatt family. The actor slammed a media house for stating that Pooja Bhatt was in an abusive relationship with him. He also stated that the old media reportage would confirm that he was the one who was targeted.

Reacting to the article, Ranvir Shorey wrote, “These kind of articles are the result of the sustained defamatory & malicious PR campaign that these film moguls have targeted me with for years! None of the media will bother to fact check old police and media records that will show that it was I who was abused by them!”

Pooja Bhatt and Ranvir Shorey dated for a while before getting engaged. Reportedly, Shorey was also friends with Manish Makhija whom Pooja married in 2003. Responding to a tweet that had photos of Pooja and Manish, Ranvir said, “This guy in the photos used to be my best friend right up until after the incident, and then turned around and married her. All kinds of relationships are manipulated and psychological warfare used.”

Pooja Bhatt and Manish Makhija parted ways in 2014 but yet to be legally separated. Ranvir Shorey eventually married Konkona Sena Sharma and they have a son together. The couple got divorced in 2020.
