The 2020 MTV Video Music Awards kicked off on Sunday, August 30. It was different from previous years. Adhering to social distancing guidelines, the stages were set at different locations in New York City for safety purposes.  Lady Gaga took home Artist Of The Year, Best Collaboration, Song Of The Year. She became the first-ever recipient of the TRICON Award. She performed a medley of her songs from ‘Chromatica’ including ‘Rain On Me’ featuring Ariana Grande.

Lady Gaga made her presence with her larger-than-life outfits for her performances, red carpet, and stage appearances. One thing, she had common in all of the looks were her customized masks. Sending out a message to safe in this pandemic situation, she matched her outfits with face shields and masks.

The 2020 MTV Video Music Awards kicked off on Sunday, August 30. It was different from previous years. Adhering to social distancing guidelines, the stages were set at different locations in New York City for safety purposes.

MTV VMAs 2020 Winners: BTS, Lady Gaga, The Weeknd, Taylor Swift, Maluma win big 

The South Korean group BTS performed from Seoul, South Korea. Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, The Black Eyed Peas, DaBaby, The Weeknd, Doja Cat, Maluma with CNCO among others performed at the VMAs 2020. The Hustlers star Keke Palmer took over the hosting duties for the night.

BTS made a clean sweep by winning all four awards they were nominated in – Best Group, Best K-pop, and Best Pop for ‘ON’ – a song in Korean, Best Choreography – ‘ON’ making history again at VMAs 2020. Lady Gaga took home Artist Of The Year, Best Collaboration, Song Of The Year. She became the first-ever recipient of the TRICON Award. The Weeknd took home Best R&B and Video Of The Year.

BTS bring a lot of funk and soul with ‘Dynamite’ performance at VMAs 2020, make history with multiple wins

The widely popular group BTS made their long-awaited debut at the Video Music Awards 2020 on August 30, 2020. After releasing the latest hit single ‘Dynamite’ on August 21 and breaking multiple records over the last few days, the seven members – RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook – made their way to the VMAs for an explosive performance.

Dressed in classic suits, jackets and vests, bringing the bell-bottoms back with slick hair and beautiful visuals, BTS performed from Seoul, South Korea as the Brooklyn Bridge, Times Square, the Empire State Building among other New York spots were seen as the backdrop. The choreography was so on point as always and their sharp performance lit up the stage. The song finds the superstars spreading joy and happiness as they croon “‘Cause I, I, I’m in the stars tonight / So watch me bring the fire and set the night alight (Hey) / Shining through the city with a little funk and soul / So I’ma light it up like dynamite, woah-oh-oh.“

On the awards side, the group was nominated in four categories and won Best Group, Best K-pop, and Best Pop for ‘ON’ – a song in Korean making history again at VMAs 2020.

‘Dynamite’ broke many records including racking up 101.1 million views in 24 hours making it the first music video to do so in Youtube history. The song has also ranked No. 1 in more than 100 countries already becoming BTS’ fifth song to achieve this milestone after ‘Black Swan’, ‘Moon’, ‘My Time’, and ‘Your Eyes Tell’. Their song ‘Filter’ has also received No. 1 in countries.

A photo of actress Kangana Ranaut happily posing with her sister Rangoli Chandel and producer Sandip Ssingh is doing the rounds on the internet. On June 14, when Sushant Singh Rajput passed away, Sandip Ssingh posted an emotional note in memory of the actor and said that Ankita Lokhande was the only one who could have saved him. 

Sandip Ssingh had shared a long emotional post describing the bond he shared with the late actor and Ankita Lokhande. “I know that only you could’ve saved him. I wish you both got married as we dreamt. You could’ve saved him if he just let you be there…You were his girlfriend, his wife, his mother, his best friend forever. I love you Ankita. I hope I never lose a friend like you. I won’t be able to take it,” he wrote in his post addressing to Ankita.

Back then Rangoli Chandel took to her Instagram handle and even reposted Sandip’s post and lauded him. Referring to his post, she wrote, “You are right, wish there was a way to block those blinding lights of show business and it’s fake promises, wish there was a way to block the mirage that movie mafia flash at every outsider who is loaded with talent, grit and ambition (sic).”

So nicely written Sandeep, he hired a fancy Bollywood PR, she works for movie mafia she told him you need exciting pair to create media frenzy like your contemporaries, here people don’t fall in love because they are in love here every thing is branding, build your brand this is the time forget your personal weaknesses now, date a super model like Ranveer or Ranbir or someone with connections who comes from film family, it’s not good for your image to live in Malad with a tv actress if you want to be in the big league you must behave like them, walk like them, live where they live otherwise you will always be a struggling tv actor, Ankita and Shushant had bought a house together he left, she was devastated but they broke his backbone, he shifted to Bandra, these fake friends surrounded him he started to date super models but he was lost, when I had known this long back because of common friends I thought to myself all this won’t help, and that’s exactly what happened no matter what he did they didn’t accept him they didn’t let him live either, their strategy worked soon fake PR and friends left and he got lonely and depressed, they used this opportunity to hit him even harder with more nasty gossiping and bigger bans and finally he left …… you are right wish there was a way to block those blinding lights of show business and it’s fake promises …. wish there was a way to block the mirage that movie mafia flash at every outsider who is loaded with talent, grit and ambition … ????

Meanwhile, the case is now also being probed by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) after an alleged drug angle surfaced. There have been allegations against Sandip Ssingh of alleged drug links. Apart from that, the Maharashtra Government received requests to probe Ssingh’s links with the BJP. Following this, Home Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh said on Saturday that he will forward all requests to investigate producer Sandip Ssingh’s alleged drug links to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

Earlier, Rajput’s family’s lawyer, advocate Vikas Singh, mentioned that no one from SSR’s family knows Sandip Ssingh. Even Rhea Chakraborty said that she never saw Sandip or heard of him from the SSR in the last one year.

The monochromatic image is sure to steal your heart and is just a way of Prabhas thanking his audiences of the unwavering love the film had recieved. Just after the release across India, the film was also released in Japan and recieved rave reviews for the nail-biting action that the film has to offer.

Sushant Singh Rajput case: CBI officials unconvinced of two answers by Rhea Chakraborty

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is currently probing the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. On Friday, the CBI interrogated Rhea Chakraborty for nearly 10 hours. The actress who is also the prime accused was summoned on Saturday for a second round of questioning.

Reportedly, the Central agency was not satisfied with the answers Chakraborty gave for a few questions and wanted more details on the last hours leading to Sushant’s death. The reports further state that Chakraborty was asked 50 questions and the CBI was not convinced with answers for two of the questions. They want to know if the couple broke up on June 8 and if yes, the reason for the same. The officials, reportedly, were not satisfied with the answers they got. 

Chakraborty revealed that Sushant checked up on her through her brother Showik after she left hisapartment on June 8. However, the officials want to know why she did not check up on him after leaving his house. 

The CBI questioned Rhea in the presence of her brother Showik Chakraborty.

On the work front, Alia Bhatt was last seen in the recently released film Sadak 2. The film directed by her Mahesh Bhatt is the sequel to the 1991 film Sadak that featured Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt in the lead. She will next be seen in the film Gangubai Kathiawadi, the release of which has been postponed due to the pandemic.
